The Railway Tavern, Mellis is a victorian freehouse situated at the centre of the village of Mellis. The village of Mellis sits on and around the largest common in Suffolk. The Tavern is a friendly, country pub serving excellent home cooked food and a good selection of real ales, guest ales changing DAILY.

 There is frequent  entertainment and also theme evenings including the very popular tapas night with authentic tapas and classical, flamenco music, Indian buffet and Italian buffet.
We also have a lovely courtyard area and sports bar and funtion room.

 Landlord Bob and landlady Pam are very accomodating and are more than willing to adapt to any special requests. All in all this is a special village pub tucked away in the lovely Suffolk countryside where you can eat good, fresh food or just drink in comfortable surroundings with good company.
